Biography
The Crow of Curses — Cubhood. — Born a single light-furred cub to a rust-pelted king and a brown-furred lioness. His father suspected him of being a cub of an affair and thenceforth chased him out and exiled him the minute he weaned and turned 5 months old. Weak and naive, Kirs was forced to leave his father’s territory and was threatened multiple times by neighbouring kings until he finally found some unclaimed territory to rest in. By eight months, he had already befriended a murder of crows through sharing the small scraps of food he had with them. He eventually came across a small forest, with a massive tree that housed an old, grey monkey, many lost or orphaned cubs, and small piles of both greyish, shining beetles and yellowish, sparkling beetles. Kirs was welcomed in, and one of the older females took him under her care, deciding she would be a sister figure for him. Eventually, said female was adopted away into a pride, away from Kirs. — Adolescence. — Eventually, he was too old to stay and was sent off. During these years of wandering, he became known as “The Crow of Curses” due to the crows that followed him and his poor habit of arriving on territories running low on prey and water. By the time he was 3 years old, he was already well-known and feared by the kings, who scorned and outcasted him because of his poor habits and pure coincidence.
