Named as he is the image of his father. He also has inherited his fathers confident personality as would possible be a great leader one day. Possibly an heir to the thrown.
Monte has started to take his potential role seriously as each breeding passes without a more worthy heir. He knows that he is not particularly want is wanted on an heir but he will do his best if it comes to it. He has been following Lincoln on his travels to give himself the best possible start if he happens to be king on day. He has been taking the story of 'The First Ruler' more to heart as he believes he will have to take the thrown one day.
Gained some fruit bats as friends when he was travelling around with Lincoln as he saved one from drowning.
Up to now, Monte is doing a fine job while training. He has not gained any injury while tussling with his father and is therefore the most successful heir up to date..... in the scar department anyway.
Mace got the better of Monte when he was 3 years 10 months, leaving Monte a bleeding pulp. Gained another scar shortly after ruining Monte gorgeous green eyes, Mace hadn't trim his nails before this encounter, whoops. Monte tripped over his feet landing on his face leaving deep scaring around it, the fool. At 5 and half years, Mace pushed down Monte while tussling and Monte landed on a jagged rock, this in turn has left a huge scar down his right side.
Is eagerly awaiting to take his thrown, Monte feels he is readey and knows that his father, the king, is slowing down and soon will be unable to provide for the pride. This is mostly true as he has not fathered cubs for a while and has halted his collection of lionesses. Mace also knows his time is near and is allowing a clean slate for Monte.
Monte has been thinking about new name for when he is crowned, sticking to tradition you see. His leading name is Bosnia, but this may change while he considers how he will rule.
Despite his confident nature, Monte is extremely worried about becoming king. He's kknows he is young for the role and less experienced than he would like to be but also knows it's his duty. The pride do not see this as he still shows his confident, cocky side to maintain balance.
Has yet to chose a queen for when he takes the thrown, he has less than a month before his father steps down and no one to sit beside. Hopefully, he will find his perfect mate in time, whether that is before of after the start of his reign.
While patrolling one day, Monte came across a lone adolescent who had seemed to have lost her whole family. He fell instantly in love with the young female, she is gorgeous beyond belief, as it caused him to halt. He asked her if she would like to join his, well his fathers, pride as she accompanied her home. He didn't take his eyes off her for a moment. He has not had the courage to tell her about his feeling as she is so young, maybe once she has settles into the pride and grown up he will ask for her heart.
Since meeting Diven, Monte has upped his efforts to be the best king when hos time comes. He hopes that this will allow her to see how commented he is to his life. In his first patrol aftr finsing Diven, he gained 8 stats.

Gained the thrown at 6 years 5 months with 1387 stats. He was finally excited to take the lead on this pride and as his father was still around until he was settled he felt more relived. He did finally take the name Bosnia, but as the pride mostly consists of lionesses who knew him, he is barely refered to by this new name.
He is waiting for his beloved Diven to mature so he can have his first litter to her. He has yet to show her how much she means to him. Maybe in another month.
He father finally passed a month after he took the thrown. Leaving Bos to his own devices, luckily he has many princesses to help him through.
First King to resch the Arid Desert to explore. Hopefully claiming more land and pride members as he goes.
He crowned his love Diven on her second birthday to show his loyalty to her, she will bare his first litter.
