Biography
Xibalbá was son to a powerful lion and beautiful lioness from a different land, he was bred for war and spent the better half of his cub hood, fighting and training. As he aged into a young teenager, his father started casting out all his sons into the wild. Xibalbá and his brothers did not understand that this was the lions' way. Young sons leave their homeland to conquer their own and create new bloodlines. When it came time for their exile, Xibalba and his brother, Camazotz requested that he would be able to say goodbye to their mother and sisters, their father agreed to this and so with heavy heart, the young lions made their farewells and with one last look of sorrow, the teens left their home for good. The first couple months were hard, the brothers grew from this, but they needed to find a home and more importantly they needed a family. It wasn't till they heard stories of a haunted swamp, home to supposed monsters...Xibalbá scoffed at this story, but the brothers did like the idea of "unclaimed" territory and so, together headed off to this so=called realm of monsters. What they had found was what seem like unending marshlands full of crocodiles and eerie fog that created a deadly labyrinth. The brothers figured that the landscape was the cause of the stories against better judgment, the young lions carefully step into the seemingly quiet marsh unbeknownst to them of the many eyes who watched the brothers. : Pride History: Former King Furyan’s pet Ghost remains with the current kings as their confidant and relays information about the territory, outsiders, and the pride to his king. King of a Swamp, Furyan has struck a deal with the crocodiles, they keep many of the herds from escaping in exchange for a share of the profits of the pride as well as keeping hyenas from stealing babies and eggs from the nest. His confidant is the grizzled old Croc Boss, Muuaji, these top predators have become close friends, all kings' future and present still honor the treaty with the crocs.
