Maneater Shadow'warlock

Shadow'warlock was born in what he taught was a loving pride. He was the rightful ruler of the land his father ruled over, however his father took one look at Shadow and decided to try again with a different lioness. Shadow's mother was devastated. The reason his father did not want Shadow to rule was beacause he was weaker than the other cubs. This only became more of an issue when all the other male cubs got their manes, Shadow remained maneless. This was a problem since his pride believed that the bigger the mane the more power a King will have.

When Shadow turned old enough, his mother sent him away for training to get stronger and maybe even grow his mane. All Shadow got from that training was a sour personality. When Shadow turned two he left the pride. After long weeks of travelling he stumbled upon a cub. He invited her to join him on his journey to find a witche's coven and she accepted. They traveeled together and formed a bond. The arrived at the coven and each went their own way. He slowly made is way to a powerful spell-caster's den. He entered quietly when there was no answer when he called out. Feeling overwhelmed by all the power flowing through his bones he ran out of there only to colide with a leopard.

After some discussion the leopard revealed her name. The Sunrise witch.
She explained that only a magical being would've able to feel the magic flooding it's body. She then offered a safe place to rest for a while. Shadow accepted without hesitation. While staying there he got curious and ended up learning how to do common spells. With the help of Sunrise he did a spell to grow out his mane, unfortunately his magic was still too chaotic. He grew a mane, but he also grew a bushy tail.

He stayed with Sunrise untill he perfected the most common spells and even learned some expert ones. When he earned the title of warlock he left to return to his old pride. When he got to the territory he found that his pride was shallow minded when they chased him out since he was now a danger to their cubs.
Without a pride or home he travelled again. He came upon a large king resting on a ledge. He introduced himself as the skilled warlock and prince he was. The King introduced himself as Ember mane.

Shadow spent a lot of time with Ember and even became his right hand. When Ember got sick Shadow tried his best to heal him. When Ember didn't get better he appointed Shadow as the new king of this land. Shadow accepted after some bargaining. Ember passed on soon after. Now Shadow rules this land with the same fiery will as Ember once did.

He did meet the cub once more a few months later. She was now grown and even had a new name. He invited her to stay. Their attachment to each other only grew stronger as the days went by. After about a year he asked her to become his Queen and she accepted. They are a powerful pair ruling over a great pride. They even adopt a lot of cubs and adolescents since Thyra is infertile.
