Born to unloving parents Craven learned quickly that he had to use words and actions to make things happen for him in life. In early cub-hood he was picked up by king Rigel who ignored him mostly, Craven was raised by Darkrose a submale in the pride. He saw Darkrose as the father he never had and Moonlight the pride's broodmother as the mom he never had. As Craven learned about his new pride he had one goal in mind, to become the king and finally have the respect he so dearly wanted. As he grew into an adolescent Darkrose started to train him and take him under his wing, as he grew into a strong male Craven started to become friendly with Rigel and speak to him daily. As Craven neared adulthood he spoke rumors to Rigel of the lionesses hating him and breeding with outsiders because they didn't want his offspring. Rigel gave into the thought Craven provoked and stepped down from the pride as leader, Craven took over right after. Rigel remained in the pride for a short period of time until one of his supposed litters was born and they turned out to be another leaders cubs. Hurt and betrayed Rigel fled the pride leaving Craven to begin a new era in the pride...an era built off of his tongue and charm, he is not who he appears to be...
