One day, while Hades was out exploring, he came across an enslaved descendent of Seth. Quickly slaughtering the poachers responsible, he released the young adolescent from his cage. Once free, he introduced himself as Anubis, and explained that he was captured after sparring with Apedemak a few days ago. He had been gathering his strength and healing, and appreciated the help. Anubis felt that Hades’s rescue was a sign from Seth that he should stick around. This was proven true after Anubis received a vision that night, where Seth called him the leader of the Abaddon Pride. Once he told Hades, a submale was immediately appointed to train him for his future role. Hades, meanwhile, continued on his mission to expand the pride as much as possible.
