He reigns with his mate, Faline, who is the one with the royal bloodline. Falling Spark is Rego’s unexpected protégé. Rego met him while at the Trading Center, and was struck by the young lion’s level head and leadership potential. Rego offers him a place in his pride, and training. Falling Spark accepts. He flourishes in the Kalahari Pride, becoming especially good friends with Faline. Faline falls hard for him in return, and the two become mates. Falling Spark’s favorite thing to do is roam far and wide, hunting for treasure, and he brings home quite a bit. Faline thinks he’s a bit flighty, but supports his adventurous spirit. As Rego approaches the age of retirement, with his only son with Kona still a cub, he names his niece Faline, granddaughter of Brond’s firstborn child Adea, as his heir. As Faline’s mate, Falling Spark will be her king, her ruling partner. As for Kanu, Rego and Kona’s son, he is to be Falling Spark and Faline’s heir, as is his birthright. ~You were having trouble deciding what carcass to haul over for dinner tonight, so you recruit Falling Spark to come help you.
