The den stinks like rot, the air is moist, a lingering wetness to it you can't place the source of. A figure stirs in the very back, hunched over. It moves strangely, like it has no control over its movements, it's body spasming wildly. It steps into the lighter part of the cave, its strange gait settinf your hairs on end. Its a lion, his fur is scraggly and greasy, like it hasn't been groomed in ages. his one eye is wide, wild and full of rage, the other stares unseeing into the distance. The most horrifying part though is his open, panting, mouth. fangs curled in a strange shape and foam dripping onto the floor from where it gathers on his chin. Its evident now that the rotten smell is coming from him, his sickly body barely holding up, and as he steps closer, tensing as if to lunge, you turn tail and flee the den as fast as possible, not turning back to look at the sickly, rabid lion behind you.
