7 BO “Was it destined for me to take over the land of fire and ashes?” This was the question Raskani asked herself every evening while she watched the sun set and her pride mates readying for some rest. In these moments she did not feel like a Queen. Just another lion, who for some reason became the one lionesses of the Clawbiters Pride admired, loved and cared for. She was the perfect Queen, the perfect love for Marhaet, the perfect ruler… But she herself knew that won’t last long. She was a bit older than five, when it happened. Poachers invading the lands. She and her lionesses managed to fight the human devils off her territory, but Raskani nearly lost Marhaet. So, as once king Ares had the hate for humans, she became the Human Foe too. She did not kill people who meant no harm, but the poachers were murdered ever so. Raskani hoped she’ll give her pride the peace they did not know until her reign. She wasn’t going to let them down. Never ever. As the prophet said, she’ll lead her pride into shattered groves one day. But now Raskani didn’t want to think about the prophecy. She knew they’ll withstand the hell of the poachers, then many more months and moons will pass until it will happen. Ten years later the prophecy will come true. But that’s ten long years, and now she wasn’t going to back down from the challenges of life. She’ll rule this pride with a caring paw, she’ll raise her heir - whether it will be her son or a lion cub found by the patrollers. And then she’ll ascend to the Skies, to Ares and Simalla. So be it. (18.04.2025) She came to the Pride of Barren Lands to propose an alliance - that was he reason her pride was under the de-facto rule of Marhaet for a month and a half. The aforementioned Pride sealed the deal with Raskani by sending one of their cubs, Hivett, with her.
