Calypso a water bonded lioness, has always felt a strong connection with water for some strange reason. An outcast she was forced to fend for herself for many moons until a pride managed to sweep her off her paws saving her from Islet's impending fate.

Calypso was born from a strong yet snarky lioness, although Calypso took after her father she soon found herself an outcast, from her pride at a young age of only 1 y/o, taking this in Calypso never truly felt the love from a caring pride, stuck as a rivulet she was cursed by islet themselves bringing the worst upon the primal lioness she faced the heartless evil from other rivulet's, food was dim and sometimes Calypso would go moons without a single nip of prey. It didn’t help that she wasn’t the male that she was born as. Taking in from the rivulet's actions soon even Calypso became one of them. That was until she stumbled upon a pride who warmly accepted her with open paws, even becoming close to her king although at the moment the pride's present leader was sick and barely strong enough to fend off rival's for the pride, this hurt the pride deeply more or so Calypso, she knew the present king didn't have many moons to go on. All the pride could do was pray to islet to have mercy on them, yet islet showed none just passing a few moons on a migration with the pride the king had fell limp his body almost stiff. Sending the pride into shock they figured they had to do what was best and leave the lion off to islet's mercy. On the way lions from the pride tried comforting calypso although it was no use. Calypso was hurt even so broken by the fall of the king, the pride was in bad shape with the loss of their king. Soon after a few chat's the pride's lead huntress was up and ready to announce their new pride leader, and without a doubt it was in fact Calypso. Hearing her name made her ears perk up and twitch back with a shock rising to her mits she lowered her crown to her mits with a soft growl she accepted this role, to this point finally becoming the new pride's queen. She felt a pull to the waters of their territory, looking down and gazing into the water, seeing the familiar face of the now dead pride leader.. she spoke with him for hours, tears and heartfelt words shared. She solemnly bid him farewell, walking to care for their pack. She discovered her ability to speak with the dead, and began to ask advice of older and wiser lions. She also occasionally brought messages to the alive and lonely.
