Primal cubs weren't an oddity or something that was feared among the members of the Tornado Pride, especially with their second leader being primal herself. However something about Houndpaw struck as strange. She rarely spoke or even roared, usually responding in a nod or a snort whenever she was addressed. Despite her reclusive behavior, and how unnerving it could be at times, she was on the good graces of the pride's leader at the time and showed no malicious intent. At least not outwardly anyway. When Beetlestar did step down from her position as queen, Houndpaw, now gaining the name Houndbite, rejected her name's suffix change when Russetshine offered. 1st Bad Karma king?
