While wandering through the savannah Akela met shanon, the daughter of the great King Nunok and Queen Zuri. Shanon's pride was suffering under the paw of Baako. Akela and Shanon fell in love and, when Lukas and Zorin overthrew Baako, took each other to be their mate. As both Prince Lukas and Prince Zorin did not desire the throne Akela with Shanon took leadership over the pride. Akela, despite being named King, does not see himself as above his pride. He listens to his mate and does not separate himself from his pride. Upon his first breeding with the queen he was given four female cubs, Blake, Arya, Beca and Mila. Mila wants to grow up to may a hansom prince, Arya to be a king or knight, Beca to fall in love with the girl of her dreams and Blake to just grow to be happy.
