Name Pronounciation: Fur-men-therr Forrmynður... the son of Perehelion and tasked with being the guardian of the pride when the cruel king was away. While they were remarkably similar in appearance, they were vastly different in disposition. Growing up, he saw the cold cruelty Perehelion exhibited in the name of maintaining the true laws of nature... and he was horrified. Still, Forrmynður kept quiet and performed his duties, helping others where he could behind his father's back. Forrmynður was relieved to see his father appear to have a change of heart in his old age, and after claiming a plain (but kind) lioness- Hilda. It allowed the son to ease his worry for the remainder of his father's life. Then, one day, Perehelion was feeling a spike of youthful energy and opted to enter into a tournament. This decision proved to be a deadly one. During the tournament, his father was thrown against a rock at a painful angle. He was able to walk away, but was unaware that he suffered from an internal bleed. Perehelion passed away in the evening of the final tournament day, hidden away in a canyon that had recently opened after another earthquake. Forrmynður was the one that tracked him down. After paying his respects, Forrmynður returned to the pride and announced the discovery of his father's body. Some wept while others appeared indifferent, caring more about how the new king felt and assuring him he would be a good leader. The words were appreciated and night then fell. Beneath the stars, Forrmynður felt ripples of power that he had occasionally experienced as a cub growing up, but they were far more powerful this time.
