Rogue's Locks was born from the union of the arrogant Mange and the stingy Misty Rains. From the moment he could toddle on wobbly little cub legs Rogue was hell on wheels. Filled with boundless energy and fueled by the same narcissism as his father, Rogue quickly became one of his father's favorite cubs. Rogue had no real goals until he later met his boyfriend Atlas from a rival pride (the rival dim decor), who convinced him to try to become the heir of the pride. After sucking up to his father and preying upon his narcisstic nature, Rogue underhandedly stole the title of heir from Cirrus (Mange's oldest child and the rightful heir) and Kimba (the heartless newcomer to the pride). Despite the wicked delight Rogue had in watching Cirrus fall from grace he decided to be somewhat merciful to his half sibling and keep him as a submale (although the older lion's grudge is still very much felt). Kimba, being slightly older and much wiser, formed an uncomfortable alliance with Rogue. With Rogue as the unstable new king and Atlas as his royal advisor, it will only be a matter of time before the pride is plunged into chaos... (6/3/2022)
Rogue's cautious wife Meteor gave birth to their first litter. Unsurprisingly much to the chagrin of both Meteor and Atlas, Rogue named almost all of them after his greedy mother. Meteor managed to name one of her cubs. It was a joyous day for the pride! (6/6/2022)
Mange the old arrogant king died peacefully in his sleep today. The entire pride is sorrowful. Cirrus and Morningside were especially hit hard, as now both their mother and father are dead. Rogue was a lot more sad than he realized, and tried to console himself in solitude while Atlas took care of the funerary arrangements. Rogue found Kimba "hiding" in the tall grass and welcomed him over to grieve. Kimba's reluctance, although very obvious, went right over Rogue's head. (6/17/2022)
Rogue's eldest sister Morningside died peacefully in her sleep today. Mange's family grieved heavily for her. Rogue and his family were saddened, but remained distant. Rogue didn't know Morningside for nearly as long. Rogue watched Cirrus leave and enter the tall grasses by himself. He's one of the few left from the old regime. Atlas advised Rogue not to follow. Cirrus died in his sleep today. Fewer and fewer of Mange's old pride remains. Rogue started to feel bad for his eldest brother, perhaps he shouldn't have treated him so wrong... But Atlas made sure to explain that this was what it meant to rule a pride, and that only one lion could rule, not two. Rogue's wife Tangerine overheard the conversation and scoffed at Atlas, saying that the lionesses /allow/ them to stay and /help/ create heirs, and that there are /definitely/ more than one lions ruling the pride. Atlas started to snarl and say things, but Rogue simply shrugged and walked away. (6/22/2022)
