Old History

Zarco began as any other bachelor lion, alone. He roamed the land as any other male would, and found his first lioness, Zae, on the edge of her hunting territory. Her lion was with her and the two were in an argument. Zarco made his way to them and separated the two, getting himself a scar on one of his lips. Zae's lion bit her rear and sent her away, Zarco claiming her quickly. She was not that pretty and not very young, but she was a lioness and he needed one by his side. He soon named her his queen and impregnated her as soon as she came into heat.

Next, he met a pretty, striped lioness known as Krisio. She and her older sister, Kaedith, joined the budding pride and fell into rank quickly, comfortable under Zae. He impregnated Krisio about a month after she joined, but Kaedith was not in heat and refused to mate.

Zae gave birth to two cubs, the first of which died shortly after birth. He named the survivor Zilch and preened her as a dear child, pampering her with every turn.

Shortly after, Krisio gave birth to a lioness cub who he named Creed. She was very plain and a quiet girl who didn't pay much mind to others.

He soon later brought a lioness who went by Liquior.

One day, he grew angry with Zae. They fought and she left him, as she had left her former mate. The pride left queenless, he returned home to find his beloved Zilch waiting, expecting her mother to return. She grew angry with him and fled into the pridelands.

Time passed and he forged a new pride and a new name - Desmosome.
