Queen Briarstar is open for studding. I roll over at least a few times a week. I care little for how dirty or clean any of my lions are. Keep that in mind for studding, buying any of my lions, or adopting lions from Rose Rescue.

Rose Rescue is my adoption den. If it is open, you may go there to get free lions/cubs. Just make sure to read the rules there. Send me a message if you see something you like

I buy bulk fodder. If your cubs or lions get bought out by me, uhhhh.... they ain't lasting long usually. If I think they are pretty I will send them to Rose Rescue.

If your trade does not state 'do not kill/reserve etc.' and is listed within the fodder price range, don't come after me with hostility. That's not nice. I do not appreciate that. Let me murder/launch lions at the nearest nature reserve in peace. I will not buy trades that have a note to not kill/reserve/chase.

Pride History: I love Warrior Cats so my pride started out as a clan at first and lasted like that until my former queen, Rosestar died. I decided to move away from clan lore a bit and make something up on my own. I do still use Warrior Cat naming rules for the most part. I have never once cared about how clean any of my lions are. My current playstyle consists of me now only kinging lions that are a part of my pride's royal family. This started with Rosestar. So no buying random cool lions and just kinging them.

Kingdom rankings and traditions.

Queens/Kings: The ruling monarchs of the Kingdom. Their word is law and they are spiritually the closest to their ancestors. Queen Freezestar and her mate, Tigerstalk became the first monarchs. The Queen decreed that only descendants of Rosestar could hold leadership to the Kingdom now.

Court Members: The highest ranking healers, guardians, and hunters. They directly serve the Kings and Queens. They function as advisors.

Healers: The healers of the Kingdom. They speak directly with the ancestors and talk to the monarchs about dreams and prophecies. The first healer was Goldenfur and an idol statue of her sits in the healer's den.

Healers never retire.

'The Mother': This role was created by Bluestar, for her mother, Whitewhisker. The Mother is of course the mother of the ruling monarch. There may be multiple Mothers if the leaders did not live long. They are treated with strong respect and they always eat before the lower ranks.

Hunters: They hunt in groups to sustain the Kingdom. They cannot eat until they have fed the Kingdom for the day. They typically retired around 12 years, always by 13. Leaders may force lions into retirement too for any reason.

The Head Hunter is responsible for overseeing the hunting parties.

Guardianss: A role created by Rainstar after the Great Drought. Only the strongest are given this role. Guards travel in small groups and patrol around the territory. They are also stationed at certain important points as well and they are usually found in the ravine where the Kingdom resides.

The Head Guard is the lead guard. They are responsible for overseeing the security of the Kingdom.

Cub Mother: Adult lionesses who have become pregnant and have given birth. Once a pregnancy has been discovered, they must stop their duties and join the nursery den. They are typically cared for by the apprentices and the healers. Once their cubs have reached 5 moons, they must return to their duties.

Leaders may mate with lions outside of their group of mates. If a lioness is ready, the Leader may grant them permission to leave the clan's territory to get pregnant and return. The Kingdom is primarily female dominated. Males are rare.

Apprentices: Cubs that have reached 5 moons are given their apprentice name and assigned a lion above 4 years old to mentor them. The 'paws are still in a testing phase and if they do not impress the leader or the mentor, they may be abandoned. When they have reached sufficient training, they are tested by their mentors who must then go before the monarch for them to approve.

Apprentices are typically assigned to clean and take care of the dens. They change the bedding of all members of the clan, upkeep the dens, and gather materials. They eat last out of all the ranks, excluding outsiders.

Cubs: Cubs are the youngest members of the clan and the lowest ranking ones only just above outsiders. Cubs remain unnamed until they reach 5 moons. Siltstar, towards the end of her reign, started the tradition of 'cub inspections'. The court will inspect the cubs and determine if they are kept or not. If they are strong enough, they will become apprentices. If they are not deemed fit by the upper ranking, than the cubs will be dropped off in a populated area to be taken in elsewhere. Sometimes the leaders sell them. So far, the killing of cubs has been outlawed and no current leader has killed cubs.

Outsiders:
The lowest rank, if you even want to call it that. Outsiders were generally treated differently based on the leader. Bigstar, the founder, welcomed all as long as they respected the land. It was how the Kingdom grew in the first place. Siltstar started being hard on outsiders and that is when most are confronted, asked to state their purpose, and escorted away. Bluestar was suspicious but allowed outsiders to come in. Rainstar was the hardest against outsiders and he would always chase them away. Stagstar doesn't wish anyone harm but due to the weakness of the group after rehoming themselves, they treat all outsiders with extreme suspicion.

The leaders sometimes temporarily take in outsiders either to breed or to 'test' them. These lions may be kept just outside of the camp. If the leader likes them, they may be kept. Cubs will eventually be sold off or given away.

Traditions

The Trial of Worthiness: The tests done when apprentices complete their training. Failure to impress the Royal Court will result in exile.

The Trial of Bravery: The test done for outsiders that wish to join the Kingdom. Failure to impress the Royal Court will result in exile.
There will be a set of tasks that the Royal Court decides on for the outsider to complete. The ending task is always killing and bringing back any animal bigger than a lion.

The Changing Ceremony: A ceremony for outsiders that have passed the Trial of Bravery. Usually most of the Kingdom attends the ceremony to chant. The Kingdom Healers will make a bundle of dried herbs, and berries and burn it. The ruling Monarch will then pour the smoke over the lion's head and symbolically make them "reborn" or "changed into a new lion. Then they will be hailed by their new name. It is common for there to be a celebratory hunt afterwards for a big feast.

Eras of the past: Early History

Bigstar: The pride started as Clearpool Clan. Bigstar was the first leader, Scorpionclaw was the first deputy, and Goldenfur was the first healer. They lived in a lush forest in a cave beneath a waterfall. The pool that the waterfall fed into was the pool that they were named after and where they communicated with Starclan. The Clan was small but they thrived. The only event notable in this era was a warrior named Cobratail who poisoned and killed Bigstar.


Siltstar: Siltstar's era started off well with no notable events. However, as Siltstar aged, she became paranoid about threats beyond the border. Clearpool Clan became more hostile to outsiders and blood was spilled. Bluehail, her deputy, organized a rebellion as they feared that Siltstar would degrade more and become a threat to them all by starting needless wars. Cobratail's treachery was exposed during this great battle. Siltstar sacrificed herself as she realized what she had become.


Bluestar: Bluehail became Bluestar. Her era was full of chaos. Invasions were frequent and she was commanded by Starclan to go out and find the source of the evil energy lingering in their land. During the journey, she and her small group of travelers found the long lost Rainglow and his new group of followers. Rainglow convinved the clan to take him back in and his new friends. This era ended with Rainglow murdering Bluestar in secret and ascending to power.


Rainstar: Rainstar's era was nothing but bloodshed. Conspiracy and paranoia ruled the clan and pitted clanmates against eachother. A new rebellion had been formed and Stagshade used his knowledge of herbs to end Rainstar's life before another civil war broke out and more lions lost their lives.


Stagstar: Stagstar's era was mostly peaceful. The clan's knowledge of herbs and healing grew stronger. Cubs were bountiful and life seemed good. However, famine struck the nearby lands and their inhabitants raided Clearpool's territory to steal prey and resources. A clan of cannibal lions rose up and drove out Clearpool and forced the survivors to flee into 'The Barrens'. Stagstar and his clan were now cut off from their lush forest, their protective cave, their powerful herbs, and their connection to Starclan. Many clanmates lost their lives. What remained of Clearpool fled south into the marshes. They built a new home and renamed themselves Reedclan. Some of the cannibals followed them there though. Stagstar lost his lifee defending what remained of his clan.

Rosestar: Rosestar waged war against the enemy clan. This era was mostly bloodshed. The healers all lost faith in Starclan and the Warrior code. Rosestar spent her life finally driving away the cannibals for good. But what remained were very few lions. Some left as they no longer saw the point in the clan. The rest that remained shook off their clan name. Freezepool stepped forward with her mate, Tigerstalk and they offered to lead the clan since they were the strongest. She called herself Freezestar despite not having Starclan's blessing.

Eras of the past: The Rise of the Kingdom

Queen Freezestar: The clan's home was in ruins since the conclusion of the wars. Those who remained stayed cautiously optimistic with Freezestar's ability to lead. She had declared that from now on, only descendants of the great Rosestar could hold the throne. For Rosestar's blood was considered pure and sacred, and within, great power rested. As the never-ending Freeze(winter) began to settle in, the Kingdom's members moved more northwards, deeper into the shadowy forest. They settled in a ravine and built it up for their new home. Life was hard as the snow seemed never ending, but they were slowly beginning to thrive. New ranks and traditions began to take shape. Starclan lost meaning in everyone's lives but they still felt spiritual. This era is where their broad beliefs in the 'ancestors' started to take shape. After Freezestar's untimely death, there was discussion amongst the heirs about who should be the next to lead. They all had rights to the throne. Outstepped the shadowy one of the family, Princess Ravencreek.


Queen Ravenstar: Ravencreek was the older half sister of Freezestar and a daughter of Rosestar. She at the time was the eldest of the family and had the most experiance. She declared that she would be the Queen as the Kingdom was still young and needed a lioness with experience. No other royal dared to challenge her. Ravencreek had lived as a sort of outcast due to her.... oddness. She was the dark silent shadow that sat away and watched with calculating eyes at every Kingdom event. A cloud of mystery shrouded her but everyone knew she was a force to respect. She became Ravenstar and took on a mate named Stormcall. It was during their reign that the Kingdom's traditions started taking on darker themes. She is also credited for the formation of the Trial of Worthiness, the Trial of Bravery, and the Changing Ceremony. Ravenstar's name held fear in those outside of the Kingdom. She was rumored to have performed dark magic experiences on unwilling participants. Princess Blazingstorm, daughter of Princess Runningclouds, had challenged her aunt for the throne of the Kingdom of Reeds.


Queen Blazingstar: Blazingstorm had been one of Ravenstar's little experiments. She had become a draconic lioness. Fire blazed at her claws without pain. Ravenstar did not foresee this leading to her own downfall. Though she was a great fighter, her skills were no match for a lioness that was literally on fire. Blazingstar rose to power with Sealheart as her mate. The never ending Freeze had stopped a long time ago and now it was the season of fire. Scorching heat and raging fires had spread all along the lands. Not much of note happened during her relatively short reign but Blazingstar did have a bad habit of accidentally starting fires and making enemies with nearby prides. Border skirmishes became very common. Everyone in the Kingdom became concerned about their future, which included Princess Auburnrose and Princess Briartangle.



Queen Briarstar and Queen Auburnstar: A tale of two ruling Queens. The sisters had always been very close. They were born in a litter of three to Blazingstar and Sealhart. Their brother was Prince Saffronmeadow. Due to tradition, males usually don't stick around too long which included the Princes sometimes. Blazingstar sent him to wander the lands and spread their genes. Auburn and Briar had become closer during this time and mourned the absence of their brother. One day, Auburnrose challenged her mother for the throne as she feared full-scale war was on the horizon. Their battle was bloody and when Auburn had weakened and collapsed, Briar had leaped in to join the fight. The flames of Blazingstar's claws did not harm her a much as it had with Auburnrose. Briartangle began to glow with a brilliant light. Auburnrose had gotten back up and the sisters fought side by side against the dragon-lion until they finally killed her with a single blow. The pride thought the sisters should fight because no one was sure who had dealt the killing blow to the former Queen. However, Briar and Auburn would not fight and declared they would have a joint leadership. Whilst the word of the Royals are law.... everyone sort of just listened to Briarstar more as she actually had leaderly qualities whilst Auburnstar ate fermented fruits and boinked random dudes on the borders instead of overseeing her Kingdom. Auburnstar never took a proper mate but Briarstar took Ivytail as her mate.
