You tried to visit Golden Hour once again, but where they once stayed, their home, was abandoned, and you were, of course, very confused and worried. Soon enough, after a bit of searching, you caught their scent and paw steps in the dirt, then followed them a very long way.
Finally, you arrived at a waterhole. The familiar lionesses you saw were here and there, along with freshly made dens around the water. Golden Hour was no where in sight, raising an brow, you was going to go ask a lioness where he was, but the loud flapping of wings startled you.
Looking up, you only see a glimpse of a large, dark figure before it lands in front of you with a thud on its feet. You tensed your body and prepare yourself for a fight. Once your eyes adjusted, you were surprised to see a primal feline standing before you. There's stars that sparkles in his pelt and looks like the night sky a little, and the wings are also very unusual, but not abnormal you guessed. They fold, and the larger lion smiles at you with beaming confidence. "Hey, I suppose you are a traveler. I'm the new king of this pride! The name is Oberon. It's nice to meet you." He dipped his head for a split second, then made eye contact with you again, this time a little frown forms on his muzzle. "Golden Hour has unfortunately passed away. Old age caught up to him." He sighed and watched as you dipped your head, saying a little prayer under your breath. The large primal puffed out his chest, forcing out a breath. βWell, he did tell me to welcome you with open arms and show ya around! And thatβs what iβmma do.β He jerks his head toward a den, turning to itβs direction. βIf you will follow me.β You nod slowly, trailing behind him.
