Kilírù's Den
The lions of the Western Comoé Pride reside along the forested banks of the Comoé River. They are one half of the twin prides divided by one of the river's many tendrils.
West Comoé lions believe that power is granted by the thoughts and emotions of others moreso than physical strength. This has led to a long trend of leaders who manage to rule the pride through reputation alone. Whether it be through means of charisma, intimidation, or battle prowess, leaders often gain their positions meritocratically as the most respected members of the pride.
Despite their vastly differing cultures, the two Comoé prides remain strongly allied. Free travel between the prides that occurs when the waters are low enough to safely cross helps to introduce new viewpoints to each side of the river and has so far prevented conflict and polarization.
