The Beginning & Mentoring

In the early days, Lord was the first king to find and reign over a swampy desert oasis. The lion Siena found the arid and hard-to-bear lands a home for his future pride. Even though he was just a young lion who had just been expelled from his homeland, Lord Sheik decided to prosper in that oasis. Sheik started his pride from absolute zero by inviting and welcoming lions who passed through the arid lands in search of a temporary home or shelter before continuing their journey. Those who remained in the territory were very much affected by the young lion's hospitality.

On a sandstorm day, while Sheik was in the middle of his patrol, he encountered a young lion with Supernal fur, with reddish upper body hair and Amber eyes. The lion found it strange and growled at Sheik before trying to attack him. Being an older lion, Sheik just dodged and immobilized the young man who growled and ordered the lion Siena to let him go. When the stranger calmed down, he introduced himself as Joshua The Killer I. He had just been expelled from his homeland by his father and was now in that middle desert on a sandbank, hungry, thirsty and tired since there were no tapirs or hyenas in the arid lands, but coyotes thrived in that environment and the young man Joshua I had gotten into trouble with coyotes and some bandit lions.

Sheik thought to himself: "This young man is weak, he is clearly not in his best condition, I have to take him in, even if temporarily." So the Lord Sheik simply told the stranger to follow him and that he would take him to his pride. Joshua growled, saying that this was foolish because strange lions are a threat to a formed pride and can kill and steal a king's female. Sheik laughed and replied that it didn't matter much if the young man stole his lionesses and as for the cubs, none were his since the male took in many abandoned or orphaned cubs, causing confusion in the young lion. After a long conversation, Joshua followed Sheik and found the swampy oasis where a pride lived, lionesses with cubs and adolescents around the water source. From that moment on, Sheik took Joshua in and belittled him until the young lion went on his way, leaving the lands of the welcoming king.

Sheik mentored another young lion after Joshua I, on a quiet desert afternoon while hunting with the lionesses of the pride Sheik could spot a shy young male lion with Savannah fur and yellow eyes the strange male lion was in the distance just watching as if he wanted to learn how to hunt, Sheik analyzed him from afar and he seemed smaller than any adolescent male Sheik had seen. The Lord pondered and when the hunt was over the male waited for the lionesses to feed along with the other members before taking a piece going after the young lion. When he found one, unlike Joshua, who tried to attack Sheik, when the adult approached, he cowered and asked him not to hurt him. The lion Siena smiled and offered the piece of comedy to the young man who was excited about the gift. While the young man ate, Sheik asked his name and the young male simply replied that he did not have one since in his homeland the cubs that were born did not get a name until they showed their worth. This made Sheik flatten his ears and frown, but the older male simply thought and named the young man in front of him Golden'Eyes since his eyes reminded Sheik of the few times he had seen gold nuggets while searching the ruins of the desert. Sheik welcomed Golden'Eyes as he did with Joshua, he taught the young male lion everything, cared for him and explained what it was like to be a king, when the time came Golden'Eyes left promising that the old lion's mentorship had not been for nothing and he would honor him as the father he never had, that filled Sheik with a good feeling of pride and accomplishment it was the old king to welcome and care for the weakest since he knew that his lands were full of dangers with Coyotes, nomadic lions, some herbivores and deadly reptiles.

The traitor

At one point in Lord Sheik's life, he ended up adopting a male cub with a Dorsal Fur mutation. He was named Kayn. His Nacarat coat, Crested mane, Nacarat coloration, with Mottled Stripes giving the illusion of a false tiger was charming. He was taught from an early age by Sheik to inherit the lands of the swampy oasis, but Kayn had in mind his own way that would reign over those lands. The young lion smiled but followed Sheik's mentoring until the moment when Kayn disappeared for days until one stormy night the young male returned with a strange smile. However, when Sheik went to demand an explanation, the lion Siena noticed that Kayn, his heir, had returned accompanied by a huge primal lion with fur that resembled a bloodbath. That day Sheik was forced to accept an alliance if he wished to live. The feeling of betrayal took over his pride, but Kayn seemed to have the privilege of having a certain greed. He understood from the primitive that he was cruel in everything. When Kayn took over the Sheik's son began to be called a traitor since his greed led the territory to a complicated and difficult phase.
