Not many cared to question how their old tyrant king had passed, if he had been slain or if his age had taken hold .. one thing was for sure, though. Valentine was changing things, the moment he stepped foot upon the king's perch. A lot of things, though, seemed to be for the better ..

Was this the savior the elder's have been speaking of for generations? Could Valentine be the reason Wormwood sees the sun again, or would he keep the pridelands sunken in darkness?

the starkly colored lion announces, his perch upon the king's rock making his voice echo throughout camp.

Of course, everyone already knew. Valentine was just .. being formal, once could say. Those not already gathering in the clearing did so now, upon hearing the commandeering voice of the new king. All eyes on him, Valentine noticed many seemed .. nervous, or even excited, upon seeing someone else ascend the throne.

"I will be enforcing some new rules, and -- if my research is correct, bringing back some old. Those who disagree with anything said here.." His tail flicked towards the entrance of camp. "No-one is forcing you to stay anymore. Take your leave."

If you are successful with a territory attack, you will receive some experience and your territory will expand by 1 space. If you are successful with an experience attack, you will receive a big bonus to regular experience gains from a fight. A lion can only be attacked for territory once per day, and can only be attacked once every 2 hours. You cannot attack a lion who is more than 2 levels below yourself. The defending lion will receive a defensive buff, so keep this in mind before attacking. It will cost 20 energy to attack this lion.
