While wandering the lands, a curious sight catches your eye. Snowy ridges peak over the horizon, silhouetted by the dying light of day. You resolve to investigate this unfamiliar territory. Drawing closer, the air grows thin and dry. The rocky terrain bites at your weary paws. Your breath comes shallow, tongue lolling out betwixt each huff.
While your guard is down, a stranger tackles you. Scrambling for purchase, the callous lion eyes you analytically. After a moment he huffs and backs off, clearly deciding you're not a threat. He turns away as you shake out your fur. He grumbles, demanding you follow him. As you pass through, numerous lions dip their heads in respect, a few gruffly greeting Xaxel by name. He leads you toward an expansive body of water, moonlight rippling along the surface. The mountainous peaks encircling the lake glow faintly in the distance. While taking in the view, Xaxel pounces atop a rocky overhang. With bravado, he addresses you.
"On behalf of Inoxia and I, welcome to Datura's Halo. May you bask in our prides' opulence."
