For long the pride was no more but a small group of loners from another pride, they were not their own kingdom but rather a group of outcasts, until the snow dynasty of Khajiit III
His white pelt was claimed as a blessing from the greater gods, his rule bringing prosperity to the chaotic pride and finally separating fully from under the previous rule of Meowth, lover of his ancient ancestor.
He ruled in piece, continuing the ancient journey of the skies blessing, started before his time in hopes of finding the ancient interstellar remains, and though thanks to his questing he spent little time with he pride, a month before his 5th name-day a heir was born to him, a daughter of white fur and angelic wings, the child of him and Kalcifer a mysterious tigon that stayed within the lands, this cub was meant to be the future heir after her fathers death, but history is tricky and the king still has many years to rule, with competition born among the dirt-colored cubs born at the edges of the pride they may still carry his genes and believe that they own his rights and his titles, what is a pale lioness to stop them?

A son soon was born to khajiit, a son who lacked his pale fur and red eyes, to him he was of no worth as a heir as he lacked the gods blessing. However a son still, the young male was allowed to remain within pride territory as he wished, growing under the care of his mother Wenet. The cub showed little interest in power, a loner and preferring the solitude of his brooding, however a certain lion saw success through the puppeteering of this youngster, if only she managed to leave a worm upon his mind.

The rivalry between daughter and boy:
Months passed, and the young litter of waddling kits grew to cubs, though of different mothers most were similar in age. Binti and Kijana were only forced to meet, as few cubs at that time lived in the den of royalty, with only three cubs wandering there. Binti, the snarky and sassy heir, always looking to talk back to her father, to bite at Kalcifer's tail or to swoop down on her angelic wings and snap at her sisters ears. Silver (for monsters) the adventures missfit, the tigon always using her greater size to her advantage, and using water to escape any other lion left Kijana with high competition. The young arrogant cub of the rabbit queen however preferred to brood alone in solitude, snapping anytime his older half-sisters came to bother him.
Soon the young lion discovered it impossible to remain in the cave, his constant argument with the older cubs not landing him any favors, being attacked from above or dragged into the cave pool he found escape in vanishing into the jungle that surrounded the prides territory.
His brooding brought the distrust from the rest of the pride, their unsureness to his behavior would lose him favor.
While one the other hand the growing queen, beautiful in body and soul grew ever more popular, those who once stood against her crowning on a status of gender seemed to grow more tolerable of her, such a disposition grew a slow seed of resentment in the young Kijana.
