! This is inspired off of the game Darkwood !
-| You approach an unknown forest, so dark and cold. The smell of mold burns your nose, and the sound of crisp wind makes you shiver. The grass beneath you is dry and harsh, pricking your paws with each step.
As you wiggle your way between the dense trees, a light shines in your eyes and an open field is revealed.
You hear birds between the silence, though they are crying instead of singing. You can't help but feel as if you are being watched, but you can't see because your eyes are stinging.
You begin to tread through the field, the large trees creaking and echoing behind you. Giving one last glance, you notice all of the eyes are upon you. | -
