You've been trying to make your way out of the jungle's depths for far too long. The vegetation is only getting thicker. Clusters of intoxicating herbs and dense flower patches and spindly roots almost making a grab for your legs make your trek increasingly difficult, as does the seemingly unnatural fog blanketing the soil. The air is far too humid. Gradually, the fog disperses as the maw of a grotto comes into view, and you pick up the unmistakable scent of a pride. As you get closer, you can hear the sounds of running water, idle chatting and... crows. Lots of them. You make your presence known and exchange greetings with the king, who seemingly (no, surely not, but it does look like it) awaits confirmation from the stark white crow preening next to him before agreeing to let you stay. For now.
