The Cloudhunter Pride is a group of lions that can be described as stubborn and proud. They are known to stick up for themselves and those they associate themselves with.

Founded by a group of lionesses who ran away from their original prides, the Cloudhunter lions are used to not being run the way a typical lion pride is. For many years, they remained a lost group of lionesses, wandering the plains.

Without a leader, they found themselves running into many lions attempting to become their king, all of them being chased off after a while due to being incompetent at best and awful at worst.

After that point, one lioness within the group stood up and decided she would lead the pride. Her name was Inlerah, and she led the other Cloudhunters to their new, permanent home at the base of a mountain. Unfortunately, some years after they settled into their territory, Inlerah died due to disease.

Without a king again, a new face showed up. Civet, also known as Civet II, son of Civet, joined the pride as a young adult. As time went on, he offered to become the prides king, as he explained his father had given him 'the best training he needed to become a king', so he'd claimed. The lionesses reluctantly allowed him to become the new king of the pride.

Unlike the other kings, Civet was different. He was strange -- a bit nervous, uncertain, and clumsy. It was clear it lived a very sheltered life as a cub. When it started off, it was very defensive of the pride. Attacking any travelers who came by, going on long patrols and adventures to ensure the territory was safe, and more. Things his father taught him. But as time went on, he learned from his pride, and ditched his fathers teachings.

The pride now lives peacefully under Civet's rule, allowing travelling lionesses to come and go from their pride. Some choose to stay, others leave after having cubs.
