Oromis, a large land mostly occupied by the widest and largest desert within the territory. In the desert it's as hot as the sun itself, bringing out the heat like nothing more, during the night the cool air brings peace to the pride once more. Calling to their Gods to bring them water and air of the coolest. A "wasteland" the outsiders would call it., only those seeking doom and death come to explore this tragic place. It has it's own beauty within the land, though hidden away by miles and miles of sand. The land was once occupied by the great King Omali, Prince of the Savannah. Those who knew him understood that the Savannah was barely his own lands, having been some way out of his large wasteland. The lands were once called the "Daga Sunpride", only branching off once Murtagh of Oromis became King. After the death of King Omali the Pride was lost. The sudden death had caused an uproar among the Pride, not even the Sub-Males knew what to do. Omali never chose an heir and even though he had three Sub-Males he was unable to choose one among them. None of which felt worthy to lead the Pride and with that the males were forced to come up with another solution. Something that may cause the bloodline to forever remain lost in the balance. Murtagh of Oromis, King of the Grass Plains and heir of the Pride; 'Oromis'. He was once a dear friend of the infamous King Omali of the Daga Sunpride. The long since King who has been laid to rest beside the tree where his eternal slumber had begun. He had died one cold and windy night underneath the tree which has since been nicknamed 'The Tree of Life'. It was once the very tree the famous lion [Omali] was born beneath and was where he had drawn his final breath. Beneath this very Baobab was where Omali had defended his son, Sangwoo and beneath this tree had said goodbye to five of his most precious Queens. Three of which to his dearest Sarafina, Sarabi and Soyohyon. Lioness' the male had always kept in his heart until the night he had passed peacefully beside his saddened son. Now Murtagh approaches his golden years, having ruled the pride for a good 13 years after the first king had passed away. In his older years it is now his job to search for a new heir, with that he looks to his cubs and future cubs for that worthy male to take the crown.
