✿ lore ✿

zahali's reign

what seems like eons ago, the gods sprouted a lion cub from the hellenistic gardens and blessed him with the ability to lead. he, named zahali, grew to be a mighty and powerful king. with his own devine abilities, grew his queen [celosia] from the same grounds he had grown. he watched her flourish into a sentient lioness. from there, he and his queen expanded their pride, growing and discovering new lions. years after their prides became successful, celosia fell pregnant with their first male cub. he [keir] was born looking like an exact replica of his mother. he became the heir to corsage.

that is, until zahali found a lone primal male [bonsai]. he took bonsai under his wing and raised him as his own son, much to keir’s distain. despite having resentment towards his father for taking away his right to the throne, keir never felt bitterness towards his adoptive brother. he took on a mentor role for bonsai. following zahali’s demise, keir will be the adviser to the king.

we will see how bonsai (now dubbed lennox -> vexx) will be as the next king to corsage.

vexx's reign

ruling with a cruel iron fist; the beastly king, vexx, is the second to lead corsage.
him and his queen, allium, grew together through childhood and adolescence. they were bound to be betrothed and bound to falling in love, which happened weeks before vexx [still bonsai at the time] took his place to the throne. unlike her consort, allium is beyond magnanimous. she treats the land, the pride, and those of other species (besides hyenas) with utmost respect and benevolence.

as of 11/22/22, vexx has sired over twenty offspring - not including the ones he exiled and/or slaughtered, of course. having said that, all of his children fear him down to their bones. not a single one of the lionesses nor his progeny dare to disrespect or go against his word. i suppose his way of being a king regnant is a way for him to insure his place in corsage's monarchy.
