Kupenda 's Den

It wasn´t until a young male lion decided to settle here that life started to bloom within this landscape. Years by now, lions of that descendant still roam around this territory freely, some hostile, some friendly toward travellers. They might let you pass to continue your journey, or they might set a stop to your life. Maybe they´d let you join them, should you look for company, but maybe you have to look for life companions somewhere else, should you get away. Those lions could give you a scar, or two; perhaps they would nurse your wounds, your hunger, quench your thirst, chase away your loneliness with the chatter of energetic cubs; perhaps the wisest and oldest of them all would share some piece of advice should they feel like it, or they´d enjoy telling you a story of the old times, when they themselves were cubs, too young to fathom the brutally beautiful pattern of life, the spreading of death everywhere life takes its place.
But that´s just the circle of life, isn´t it ?
