That is why, for centuries, the Deadhide Pride has voyaged the globe as nomads, guided by the celestial canvas above their heads. Every star in the sky represents their ancestors━the ones who have fought before them for a better life for lions and lionesses ranging in size and age.

With their heads low and their bellies full of nutrients, the remaining conscious pride members crane their necks upwards, letting their eyes fall upon the starry sky above them.
"Celestial ancestors, please grant us your strength. We will need it for the journey ahead..." The familiar phrase is thrown around by the eldest lions in the unit.
Tabula Rasa rests nearby, his majestic black mane wavering in the wind. Still, the heart in his jaws beats, powered by some sort of vigor in the atmosphere. He watches over his pride with such dignity that, if viewed by a bystander, he'd seem doubtful of any potential threats nearby.
His eyes sag with fatigue. When was the last time he's slept?
"Rest, my pride. We have a long trip ahead of us."

Hello there! My name is Snooze, and I'm a female (she/her) from the West Coast. While I am not too new to the game (joined in 2021), I took a long break, therefore I delayed my opportunity to actually dive deep and grind for good lions/lionesses.
