You've been wandering around in the plains for quite a while now, so long that it's now nearing midnight, and you've noticed one thing: You're completely lost. Though it's strange, once you reach a certain point, even the bugs go eerily quiet. It scares you a bit, that, and the feeling of eyes watching you from the shadows. In the distance you see a human town, however you don't smell any humans, no, the scent that fills your nostrils is the scent of other lions... And hyenas? Your curiosity gets the better of you, and you trot toward the town. There's what looks to be an unscalable wall of discarded human objects and briars surrounding the town and at the entrance two muscular lionesses with dark pelts stand. One lioness pads over to you, demanding to know who you are and what your intentions are, you calmly explain that you're a neighboring king and would like to meet the king of the pride. The lionesses pause to look at each other, and then the second lioness signals for you to follow her, padding carefully down the worn down path.

As you walk the path you see several spotted hyenas and a few lions and lionesses betting on two fighting male lions, the pit being run by two aardwolves- One of whom almost runs into you when he darts off into one of the abandoned buildings with a satchel of squirming silver beetles. There's a lioness trying to persuade her playing cubs into another building to sleep for the night. The guard lioness continues leading you down the path and into a building where a black piebald lion with hints of red in his fur and white undersides lies beside a massive primal-sized pink and white barbary lion. The barbary lion is grooming the dark-colored lion's mane, a low rumbling sound akin to a purr escaping him. The piebald lion stares at you as you enter, grumbling and standing up. "Yeah, yeah, can't have two fuckin' minutes of alone time." the piebald lion speaks, "What? You here to accuse Bishop and Church of fixing the fights? It's not their fault you picked a shit competitor, you know." you shake your head and explain your situation, and who you are, "Oh, in that case, it's nice to meet you. I'm Jasper, and that big guy is Ajax." Jasper says, gesturing with a paw over to the ankh lion, who just stares at you like you're a freshly killed zebra. "Don't worry about him, his bark's worse than his bite-- Okay, no, that was a lie. His bite is much, much worse." Jasper lets out a small chuckle.
