While the hyperactive king spread terror across the lands, within his own pride he was relaxed and accepting of anyone, his only demands were that his lionesses hunted enough to provide for themselves and have enough left over to trade with the neighboring kingdoms, as well as gathering resources for his allied pride led by RisingSun.

It may be that his constant travelling made him an absent father, which inevitably led to his son's reign of terror.

When this heartless king took over he decided change was needed within the pride, he did not care for his pride, and his only goal was to create lucrative cubs that had the characteristics needed for any breeding challenge that might arrive.

While his father still lives he allows the useless remnants of his pride to stay, provided they do all the hunting.
