“ after walking for what seemed like eons through dusty and barren territory, eventually you stumble upon a land turned murky with water, floods pooled around into any empty crevice. Walking further ahead, while pitifully attempting to stay dry, you find that this land only gets wetter. Muddy ground turns into traps that leave your lion weak in the effort to escape. When you wished for water this is not what you had in mind.
Suddenly, as though some odd prayer was heard, a lion appeared, er what you assumed was a lion. Their fur was pristine white, almost impossibly so considering their surroundings. Instinctively you dash forward, attempting to reach the feline before they would leave. Luckily, you made it, it seemed though he was waiting for you, words already coming from his maw “ I’m sorry about the land, it wasn’t… it wasn’t always like this. In my grief i created a land of floods and storms.” He seemed sad, ears laid flat against his head, his eyes were downturned and tears dripped down his muzzle.
“ let me lead you home, out of my territory, so you may feel dry and clean once more.“ his words were somber, quiet and almost hesitant. He began to guide you past pools of murky water, past mud traps, and eventually past his entire land. You stood on solid ground once more, paws no longer sinking slowly into an ever wet grass patch. He smiled faintly “ please, tread safely” “
