In a world where the battleground isn't just a field but a vast savannah, ferocious lion prides clash in an intense struggle for dominance. But that was in the past. In earlier times, the savannah had been claimed as battlefield, an arena that no doubt brought tragedy and dread to all involved. But as of late, as both sides of the war signed an armistice, the chaos has died down in the territory. Now, they are more focused on peacekeeping, peacebuilding, disaster response, humanitarian aid, military engineering, law enforcement, arms control, deterrence, etcetera rather than going to war with neighboring prides that are desperate for dominance. But that doesn’t mean there will never be another..

Lieutenant Simon Ghost Riley spends quite a bit of his time guiding the rest of the pride through thick and thin on now ‘easier’ missions, his stoic and gruff demeanor making him fairly intimidating to those he wasn’t close with. He leads General Shepherd’s squads through the treacherous terrain they get assigned to, employing stealth and strategy reminiscent of military tactics that they had likely picked up from witnessing human war.

Each lion in this intense pride has their own unique set of skills, from precision marksmanship to close-quarters combat. Because only the most elite and highly skilled warriors are sought out for in this pride, the weakest links are simply sent back to the jungle where they will live a safer life.
