 HISTORY - At least 100 new suns ago a prophet of great influence visited the Prides of Solar, Lunar, and of Eclipse. The lion presented the prides with meaningful options, join together in unity. Once done they would be granted upon a cryptic order, and once their task had been decrypted and fulfilled a great prize of the prides choosing would be given...Or continue their way of life and be surrounded by enemies' who had been proposed the same offer. Out of fear and greed the prides collected and became The Tribe Of Progression. - After years of praising the gods, and attempting to figure out the meaning of their task, the Tribe's persistence finally prevailed. Three Lions, One Pure and Clean, Fur as clear as the morning sky, One sinned and lived, Fur as dark as the night they stalked in, And one with a tail intertwined in both worlds, its tail protruding into two. The three chosen were to be sacrificed for the good of the tribe, and thrown off the top of the highest known peak, having fallen to their most definite demise. In a turn of events, the prophet had been a messenger of the god Ukuman, the Lion of tricks and turns. HISTORY As punishment for the gruesome and cruel treatment of the three sacrificed lions that had been devoted to their pride, Ukuman allowed the three to add any downside they desired to the gift the tribe requested. The bestowal requested was one of everlasting life for all who lived and supported the tribe. After the receivement of their gift the tribe lived on in glee for 9 New suns. Concern began to arise when they found an elder had survived to 250 New suns, passing the oldest known lion in pride history by many Suns. The longer the pride hunted, slept, expanded, the more they found the previous gift had been turned into a curse by the three sacrificed. While the lions did indeed live and breath forever, they continued to age and deteriorate. - Overpopulation creeped upon them as a great threat, the valley they were confined to being a locked in prison, and an unforeseen consequence played as the oldest lions began to die in spirit, unable to move yet soul still tied down to their body. - Eventually a small group was assembled to branch out a attempt to find a way to rid the curse that had been brought upon them, forming Death's Forgiveness Pride.
