Tangerine. The new King. An underdog in its purest form.

His eyes spot yours, Fenris and Persephone both on either side, the dark lioness relaxing her large head on his spine, the other wathcing the cubs and young panthera play near the battle baby grounds. His smaller form barely looks like it'd be able to sustain the title of King; though, he stands proudly and intimidatingly on the High Rock, amongst his commanded.

Some of the other lionesses and Sub-males lingered here and there, the child-bearing mothers settling under the large tree erecting from the center of the territory in order to escape the heat.

Tangerine's tail lashes behind him, forcing his way up, and harshly throwing Fenris' head off, awakening her from her rest in the process without any regard. A low growl reverberates through the Pride's otherwise calm atmospehre, his heavy glares .

Lio's form emerges before Tangerine can greet you in his... own personal way. She looks older from when you last saw her, her pelt greying, face sunken, but still ever the lively and playful. You feel eyes on the back on your head, watching... Observing... Dissecting. There is a tense air when Lio approched you, but her aura brought a friendly familiarity amongst the hostility.


"Welcome back, Newcomer." She purred, offering an indulgent nose tap. Sunnkist's elderly presence making itself knownbehind his mate as he ambles through the Pride he had once commanded so long ago. His voice is aged like fine wine, but still holds that young confidence.

"Ah, newcomer! Welcome back."
