Callisto, moon of jupiter.'s Den

it was a dark and gloomy night, the full moon rose high above you as the breeze clawed at your fur. you could feel droplets of rain being pattering your pelt. the foresty area you had wandered into was easy to get lost in, and you could scent you were in a pride’s territory.
the moonlight lit a path in front of you, good thing for the bright night it was. following along it slowly, your gaze drew across the landscape before falling on a dark shadow.
you nearly jump out of your fur in alarm, however if they are familiar with this territory, perhaps they could point you out? you begin slinking towards the lion, who straightens as you approach.
“Quite bold of you to just wander up to the king that own the territory you so secretly clamber through, hm?” he spoke in a narcissistic tone.
you could already tell this king seemed like a egotistical jerk, but who were you to judge a book by it’s cover? your ears twitch awkwardly, the steps you take now may go well or worse.
“I don’t have all day, sweetheart.” the king yawned. “come in, since you seem not to have the brainpower to walk yourself out, i’ll take you.” without waiting for an answer, he bounded off at a trot.
you whip around, cantering after him. could he not slow down just a bit? those long legs do not need to go so fast!
“I’m Callisto, moon over jupiter. I assume you’re some random king- queen-? who thought you could take over my pride? I don’t care anyways. You’d be foolish to think you would get out alive. Have you never heard of the absolute POWER we hold? What an idiot!”
An idiot? He’s the idiot. Literally all the powerful lions of that pride were supposed to be dead. Well, besides Fizuli, who is quite kind. And besides.. okay, point is: that pride has no power without Devil alive in it!
Lucky for you, and probably Callisto, you scent the border markers and bolt over them. You scramble away from the forest.
“Good riddance! Not even a thank you?” you heard Callisto call from behind you.
will you come back? probably not. probably a good idea that you don’t, honestly.
