This here is a wondering pride. Never settling in one place for longer than a week. They follow the herds to water and pick off some when they're hungry, resources are rarely short. The cubs, while exhausted easily, enjoy seeing new places and meeting new lions. The pride often picks up new lions along their journey and families are formed. But of course, the ups has it's downs. Every once in a while they wonder into another's lions territory and are met with aggression. Excluding the loyal ones, pride members often only stay for a season, getting tired of the long walks. And not to forget, foreign places can often be hazardous, as one never knows when there's a crocodile lurking in the waters.


The leader of such a pride goes by the (rather unimpressive) name of Drift. A skilled shaman who can sense danger just as well as he can feel a sharp thorn in his paw. 

But, in all honesty, Drift is a bit of a loser among the ladies. His complements often fall short and sound rather desperate due to his timid yet polite nature. His lack of mane also hasn't helped his case. He never grew one and likely never will, yet his little hare, Trophes, calls him a late bloomer. It's all in good fun though. They've known each other their whole lives (so to speak). While in training, the little rabbit was assigned to Drift to help with herb gathering and, while they were originally against the idea, haven't left each other's side since.

Trophes is a great help when it comes to the lionesses and somewhat of an expert when it comes to mating (having had many litters himself). He gets them to ease up a bit so Drift has better odds at wooing them. Drift's life doesn't just revolve around the lionesses though, sure they make great company and he cares for them greatly, but he's often in his own world. He gazes at the stars, often to interpret signs from the ancestors in guidance, or just wonders along, watching for any meaningful plants as he passes. 

He is a rather absent father, at least emotionally. He has no idea how to deal with cubs, the yammering just gets to much at times. He enjoys teaching them when they are older, if the adolescents like listening to him rant on about herb properties that is...
