PRIDE LORE

A land filled with powerful beings that rule both the lands and skies to protect the mortals below. The air is light, and the skies are bright. However, the air flows with power as the lioness around the waterfall snuggles up to each other. Travelers are known to stop by and thank the many goddesses surrounding the area. Few males roam the area, but those that do have a certain role in protecting the goddesses. The pride considers little animals and critters sacred, and those used in feeding are given thanks and prayer as they leave the mortal body they once knew. Some lionesses are known to help guide their souls to the afterlife. Each lioness has a role in keeping watch over the mortal lions that roam the lands far from them. When the shell of a lioness passes away, her goddess soul finds the next cub to take over and continue her role, as mortal bodies do not last as long as their real bodies up above.

Thanatos is the incarnation of death and a bloodthirsty killer of outsiders. He is very protective of his lionesses and females in general. He now rules over these sacred lands, hoping to have a big pride with many cubs running around. But watch out for his temper, for it tends to be short...
