Queen Nexus is a smaller sized, snarky, and bold lioness. Known for avoiding outsiders and living solidarity life. When she does come into contact with other prides, she can be rude and abrasive. Always willing to speak her mind. Nexus lacks skills for combat, but makes up for it in her intelligence and cleverness. She has a very close connection to the local birds, many of them even feel comfortable landing on her. The most well known bird is her magpie named ‘Shadow’. Who seems to be welled trained, spending most of his time on the queens head.

Queen Nexus was given her title after rebelling and staging a coup against her previous king named Ruby. He was a reckless and naive king, who had many devoted followers believing in tradition. He raged brutal and bloody wars, causing suffering to those outside his pride. Many lions left due to his abuse, the ones that stayed were often sick and hungry. Nexus was the first to act, leading a revolution within the pride. In a desperate attempt to erase the damage and suffering done by her king, she led the rebelling group to set fire to her beloved territory.

She escaped with her new pride into the tundra. Using the cover of the freezing snow and steep cliffs to rebuild. Using this new frigid opportunity to live a secluded life, away from the wars and violence they had become so used to. Queen Nexus and her lions continue to worship, respect, and protect their cold mountain-like territory. Seeing it’s natural solidarity as a blessing, even if they don’t interact much with other prides.
