After wandering for what feels like days, you suddenly find the surrounding territory shifting from golden sands or wild jungles to a strange black sand desert with dark flora and crazed looking animals. You press on, determined to find the Capitol of this strange and unusual territory, where you eventually find a city built out of black stone, with towering spires and a walled gatehouse keeping you out. Soldiers in dark scale armor say nothing, and raise the gate to let you in. The city is dark and cold, with lions in a variety of gothic inspired fashions, and covered in pelts, some of them from what look like other lions... you're not exactly sure why, but something about this place seems to be drawing you in, and forcing you closer to the towering palace at the top of a dark mountain with spires that reach towards the endless night. Welcome to Nocturnia, the place where the line between nightmares and reality seems thinner than ever...
