Aiwi's Den

You can feel your paws giving out beneath you as you drag your heavy, tired body to a small puddle of murky water. As you begin to relieve your thirst, you look up, to see a strange, terrifying figure. The large lion was sitting across the way, his eyes burrowing into your soul.

You sit up, intimidated by his unnerving stare. "Why are you without a pride?" His baritone voice shook you to your core, and you could feel this unsettling urge to obey his every command.

With a shaky voice, you explain how your pride had decided you were useless to them, as you couldn't do a single job properly. After a long moment of silence, the lion rose to his massive paws, shaking out his fur. "Follow." He commanded, turning and walking into the forest without a word more.

You rush after him, nervous, but afraid of death. You are on high alert, looking around you anxiously. As you walk on, you notice the lion approach a throng of lionesses and another lion at the front, waiting for him. He rubs heads with the male and greets the females gently, his once unnerving voice now comforting.

"Take care of them, Murdoc'Root." The monstrous looking lion walked off after that, disappearing into the darkness. "As you wish, Tree'Fang." With that, Murdoc'Root approached you, a friendly smile upon his face. "Please, follow us! You must have been abandoned by your pride for Tree'Fang to lead you here. Speak with some of the lions, I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you about this pride of misfits!"

As you follow the strangely chipper lion, many of the lionesses greet you, but one particular lioness stuck out. She had gorgeous pink and white fur and it was obvious she was very close to the rest of the pride. She was a very proud lioness, and it was obvious how strong she was.

"Oh, I forgot!" Murdoc'Root exclaimed, turning to you. You wouldn't lie, he was intimidating as well, his white patterning on his pelt unnatural and somewhat off-putting, but obviously a lot more friendly.

"Welcome to Erasmus!"
