Plainsong's Den

Your paws are weary by the time you arrive in a territory so high off the ground that it feels as if you climbed into the heavens. Endless stars surround you on all sides, and from within the yawning maw of the main cave, you can hear the sounds of revelry and joy -- the laughter of cubs, even the joys of other males and lionesses.

Pricking your ears towards the sound of the partying inside, you wonder what they may be celebrating- if anything. Then, thrusting your head into the cave, you see the gathering within, and all heads turn towards you, carrying with you a stranger's scent. But, their reactions seem not at all aggressive and more welcoming than others you must have encountered on your long journey.

Rising from the crowd is the presumable king of this starry territory, his voice warm and welcoming like an old friend's. He didn't look much like a king, considering his... simple, appearance. "Welcome, stranger. Please make yourself at home here in our caves. I am Plainsong; I oversee this territory; I and my fellows make up the Pleiades Clan, where we are all children of the stars. May I, or anyone else here, show you around?"
