The first king and Queen of The Golden Vale had three kits Royal, Valor, and Mace and these kits would come to shape the Golden Vale’s history forever. Royal was the first born and expected to become the king of the Golden vale, he was taught the core principles of becoming an amazing king Integrity, compassion, and justice. He was kind to everything and loved everyone, he was trustworthy and loyal to those closest to him… until one day when his undying loyalty led him a stray. Royal had been led out of the safety of the territory by a new yet strangely stripped lion he’d thought of as a friend, but as the pair got further from the territory it became apparent they where being watched by not just one pair of eyes. Then two large female tigers lept from the bushes picking up the young heir and carrying him away to who knows where.

The king a queen had searched and searched for the Young Royal for about a year but alas they had to give in to the thought that their eldest was gone for good, Valor was then named heir and raised to become the future King of the Golden vale yet he didn’t understand the principle Values of being a good king, he wasn’t very compassionate towards others and his sense of justice was clouded by years of being second best to the oh so perfect Royal. And even now with Royal long gone he was and will only ever be the second best cub, perfect in every way yet twisted with hate and jealousy over his older sibling.

Mace was however the opposite of Valor she possessed all the traits of a good king and more but then only problem was that she was not the eldest of the litter and she was a female, back in her time it was un acceptable for a female lion to be leading a pride, heir job was to hunt and bear cubs so she hunted and she was great at it, she built up quite the muscles mass, she could tussle with even the biggest of males without so much as a sweat, Mace also had a condition she’s been borne with her fur grew longer then most lions often leaving her shaggy looking and disheveled and unwanted by any male suitors and Valor never ceased to remind her of this as they grew older and older then eventually Valor was king of The Golden Vale. Once the Tyrant became King he killed his and Mace’s parents before her eyes then once they where dead he made the pride eat their corpses, if any refused they could leave and so Mace refused and this angers him so he attacked her then sent her off into the thick forest alone and injured.

Mace walked for days and days until eventually she collapsed from exhaustion, malnourishment, and dehydration when a wandering lion found her he lifted her onto his back and carried her back to his pride. Where she awoke to see none other than her Older brother Royal, his fur was a black with dark brown highlights, a full black mane and piercing red eyes with the softest fur. Royal made sure she ate and drank some water before resting some more but once she was healthy again, she told him of the stuff Valor had done and what else he will do Royal agreed to go back home and take his rightful spot ruling the Golden Vale pride but Mace had fallen in love with the Mountain Tiger whom ruled Crescent Tide, so she stayed with him while Royal dart off for home.

In the end Royal defeated Valor and set things right at The Golden Vael where he found his mate Pyre a beautiful Leopard while his sister Ruled with Shiv the Melanistic Tiger at Crescent Tide and the Siblings remained close spending most holidays with each other’s prides.
