EᐯO's Den

A thick, shimmering veil wavers before you. As you look upwards, it vanishes to the sky and the edges melt away to the scanned horizon. A sense of anxiety prickled your fur but you're determined. You know you must press on.

With a paw step, you enter the shroud and there is a rather pressing counterpressure trying to push you back. You are stronger though and more and more, you break forward to the new land beyond.

Above the sky has been transformed to brilliant twilight. There was no sun and no moon but million of dazzling stars which gave an unusual type of dark-light. The heavens were a swirling and undulating colors of violet, navy and the distant skyline a pale gold. You feel a lifted weight from upon your shoulders, no longer burdened with the emotional tension you once had. The air was deliciously crisp and it intoxicated your mind.

"Ah," A disembodied voice, "Travelers don't last long here." You blink, trying to make sense of where or who was near. Yet you find nothing. The land was flat, no trees or plant life. The beauty above to the nothingness around. The dread returned in a shock up your spine.

"Do you think you can survive in my evenfall? Let's find out."
