The Pride

Hierarchy:
Deities- They're seen as gods/goddesses inside the pride
Star reader- They read omens and watch the stars, same tier level as Plant speakers
Plant speaker- They help the injured in the pride
Lady of lions- Lioness pride leader
Council of lions- A few personally chosen lions to make decisions, it usually changes everytime a new Lady takes over
Speaking lion- Lionesses that delivers messages to other prides, usually the ones with the most stamina and speed
Blessed lioness- A lioness who has cubs, cubs are rare in the pride so therefore she is deemed blessed
Cub- A young lion in the pride, their current role is whatever their mother is.
Fish catcher- Lionesses that hunt in the rivers and marshes
Land runner- Lionesses that hunt outside of the island on flat land
Novices- Adolescent lions that are training to become a role
Senior- An elder lion who has retired. They share their wisdom, but if food runs short, they are sent away for the good of the pride.
The sacrificed- When the river runs low, if a deity calls for a sacrifice, one is made. It is an honor.
