Grimo's Den

While wandering through a very thick and dark, forested area you heard someone roar and then the cries of hyenas went off. You went towards the noise warily and saw a lioness in the middle of a hyena pack, trying to fight them off.

She caught them by surprise but alone there was no way that she would win.
It was obvious that she was tiring, she no longer had the upper-paw in the battle.

You, quickly realizing that she needed some help, rush out to the hyenas, growling and jumping, flinging you paws like a rabid animal.

Hyenas can easily kill one lion but fighting off 2 lions is already too much for them.
They gave up the fight and ran off.

The lioness fell down and rolled onto her back, tired and beaten. She looked at you with a calm expression and started purring. '' I am grateful that you decided to help me, it was pretty reckless of me to try and fight off a hyena pack alone huh?''

You made sure that she was alright before deciding to leave. You took a few steps and looked back for a moment and....well she was still laying down obviously... BUT now she was talking to some ravens, you looked up and realized that the branches above you are overflowing with ravens...
...most likely a bit creeped out, you start walking faster..yet no matter what you did.. you felt their empty eyes on your neck.

Now you are running, you don't know where but you want to get away.

FINALLY you get out of the forest. You looked back one last time and saw probably the largest raven you have ever seen, perched on a kopje. Next to the raven was the same bloodied lioness from before.
However now she was wearing a nyala pelt.. She raised her paw, probably waving goodbye.

Within the blink of an eye, she and the raven were gone. Fair to say that you noped out of there.

Grimo, The first queen of the Riverbank Pride got taken into the pride after her mother was killed by poachers. The previous king, Mirro, mentored the young cub and treated her, like she was his own.

After a while a bloodthirsty nomad came onto the pridelands and attacked Mirro, wanting to take over the pride.
After a very vicious battle, Grimo joined it and fought along Mirro, killing the nomad for good.

Luckily Grimo came out with minor injuries yet Mirro wasn't so lucky, he grew terribly ill and died a few days later.
It was a disaster to the whole pride, Mirro hadn't chosen a heir and the submales refused to step up.

It was decided that Grimo shall be crowned and will become the next, the very first queen of the pride.
It wasn't easy for Grimo, she was still grieving and suddenly she had an entire pride to worry about.
For days she traveled from kingdom to kingdom, asking advice on how to lead a pride. She got advice from other queens and she felt a glimmer of hope.

When she returned, she was ready to lead the pride.

Yet what nobody noticed was that Grimo needed help with her grief.

As weeks went by her grief had turned her into a monster.
She now was nothing more than a husk filled with anger, grief and hate.
The prideland was now her playground.

Own a lion with a lethal mutation
Crown a lion with the dwarfism mutation
