Achillea Dianthe Blodwedd's Den

After the death of king Wren Sylvanus Pyry the leadership of the so called Harem Pride was taken over by a young and ambitious Azar Taranis Pyry. Born to the Gladiatrix Aya of the Colosseum Pride, growing up Azar knew nothing but dust, sand and brutal fights of the gladiator arena his mother fought in. It wasn’t until he was crowned king that he saw for the first time luscious forest greenery and cascading silver of fresh mountain spring. Deeply inspired by this scenery, Azar Taranis took crazed Harem Pride deep into the heart of the Xylia forest and disappeared for four years.
During that time, Prides ideology changed drastically. Crazed Harem Pride interested in nothing but endless breeding and hoarding of lionesses transformed into a more amicable Yarilo Pride - named after a Slavic deity of vegetation, fertility and springtime whom the pride now worships. Newly reborn pride returned to the land of Lioden looking to add new blood to its ranks.
Azar Taranis continued to use the name of the Pyry dynasty in hopes to clean it’s name from the dirt of their previous kings. He choose to go down the path of evil karma so he could provide shelter and food for his precious lionesses and cubs.
While in isolation, Azar reformed previous ranks within the Pride and replaced them with new ones, more suitable for Prides believes and ideas.
New ranks are as follows:
***Hamadryad*** are highest ranked lionesses in the Yarilo Pride. Each of them is connected to a sacred tree that gives them prophetic abilities. When Hamadryad dies, so does her tree which soon sprouts into a new one. Through a special ceremony, new Hamadryad is assigned to the tree. Together they grow and the cycle continues.

*Meliae* are second ranked lionesses who are associated to the Ash trees. They are brood-mothers and guardians of young. Meliae are in charge of cub and adolescent training, preparing them for their future duties. There is total of 5 Meliae lionesses in the Pride and they have to be 8 years or older to fulfill this duty.

+Daphnaie+ are lionesses associated with laurel trees - trees of victory. They are strong guardian lioness and lions who protect the borders of Yarilo Prides territory as well as hunt food that feeds it.

~Epimelides~ are the most diverse rank in the Pride and consists of lionesses associated with various fruit trees. They freely roam Prides territory, assist other ranks in their tasks. In event of passing of a Meliae lioness, oldest of the Epimelides takes her place becoming new Meliae brood-mother.

_Pitys_ are last rank within the Yarilo Pride whose members are lionesses associated with pine trees. Their specific trait is that their fertility is extremely low (below 10%). They are true remnant of Harem Pride, but their numbers are dwindling as they serve no true purpose within the new Yarilo Pride.

With reformation of the Prides ranks came new ideas for possible heir. Some of them include a piebald or patches heir. Some are more keen on breeding or finding a primal mutated cub for the next king and some are actually leaning towards more natural golden look. Among all of them, one idea has become a constant, they would very much like to have a Queen in the next great cycle.
