Meitai's Den

After a long, and confusing journey, you find yourself along a winding river, coveted by dense reeds and bullrush much taller than you are. The forest seemed to constantly change around, a tree never in the same place... up until now.

The stream up ahead has water that is shallow, which trickling methodically. A glade of trees overhead scarcely allows golden rays of sunlight to peel through- sprites barely illuminated by the warm light. At a bend in the river, you find a small pride of lions who are lazing in the dried mud further up the riverbank, all of which seem pleased to have a visitor.

"Welcome, traveler." A chatoyant lioness addresses you politely, a few cubs dawdling underneath her legs and paws.
" Stay as long as you'd like. Time is still here."

You tilt your head with confusion, and she simply purrs with laughter.
"Follow me, and I shall explain."
