The Between Lands :


Unknown of the most, the Between lands are a place where the space time is disturbed, that causes the things to rot in an impressively fast amount of time, including flesh and plants. As there's some days when time doesn't go forward at all and finally, the disturbance might cause the time to go backwards. Most lions don't risk themselves to stay more than a day or two, not wanting to get out of there 2 years older or younger. That's a bet that isn't worth your life.


The Silvers Shores :


Some say that the Silvers Shores are the nearest place to heaven on earth. The sand is made of, well, pure silver and the water is as clear as glass. Rumors are saying that Ra himself has blessed those shores and that bathing in those waters make you look more attractive. But who knows if this is true or not.


The Forgotten Forest :


The Forgotten Forest is the most likely place to find outcasts who deserted or have been chased from their pride and took shelter in them. Don't trust anyone you meet there, some of the Forgotten Forest residents have been chased for a good reason… The constant smell of sulfur and smoke make it hard to breathe and going through those woods requires constant vigilance to not fall into an ambush or getting attacked by the fauna and flora.

When a lion tried to feed evil shards to the Diabolic altar, Hemoglobin, an evil lioness with a fur tinted red from the blood of her last victims, was summoned into this realm, instead of what was expected by the other lion. Hemoglobin slowly made her way down from the altar and brutally killed the poor lion who accidentally summoned her.
Hearing the news, Aiatar sent nephelines to try to stop Hemoglobin. Unluckily for them, Hemoglobin had the support of the most demonic being on this realm. What was supposed to be an easy banishment turned into a bloodbath where Hemoglobin and the demons walk out victorious.
Till this day, Hemoglobin is still padding among the mortal realm, leaving a trail of blood in her path...

When Mypha gave birth to Awaken Nightmare, she immediately knew that something was odd. Her fur was as sparkling as a galaxy and her mane was already partially grown. A sparkly black smoke was escaping from her body as she was weakly breathing. Awaken Nightmare's mom took the cub inside her mouth and worriedly brought her to the pride shaman, Vy, who seemed shocked when she felt the presence of the tiny creature. The shaman did what she could to stabilize the cub but the shiny black mist wouldn't go away. Mypha thanked Vy before leaving with the tiny breathing thing. As soon as she got back in the Silvers Shores, She started looking for a place to hide her from her husband, as she knew that he would see her as a threat. After a bit of research she decided to hide the cub in a bush of Pennyroyals. She made sure that the cub had everything she needed and regularly came back to nurse her and take care of her for 2 weeks. The third week, when Awaken Nightmare first opened her eyes, she looked at her mother and didn't understand why she suddenly stopped moving. Neither when her body started to crackles and explode into some fine black sparkling dust. The cub crawled to where her mother was a second ago and confused, whined, trying to get the attention of someone. A young lioness called Midnight heard her. She followed the sound and saw that odd looking cub. She decided to go see the shaman with her as the cub was looking unusual. Vy thanked Midnight for bringing the kitten to her and asked her where she found her. Midnight answered that she was next to a sparkling black dust. Concerned, the shaman asked the young lioness to leave. Vy then proceeded to raise Awaken Nightmare as her own child, doing research at the same time to try to figure out what was wrong with her. She didn't succeed till an accident happened. 2 year later, a young submale came to see Vy to tell her that the kinged had gone crazy and started killing the whole pride. He was gonna leave after some advice but met the gaze of the interstellar. He died a few seconds laters in a sparkling black dust explosion. Now aware of what was happening, Awaken Nightmare told her adoptive mom that her eyes seemed to be the problem and start apologizing for what she accidentally did. The shaman kindly smile and reassured her by telling her that it was her for and gave her a black and gold blindfold. This way, she said, you won't be able to hurt anyone else. Awaken putted the blindfold on and took a couple of day before being able to properly move without bumping into everything. She had developed her other senses and was able to hunt prey only by hearing and smelling them. A few days later, while Vy was resting, Awaken Nightmare left the Between Lands in direction of the Silvers Shores, knowing that her adoptive mother probably wouldn't had let her go. The interstellar felt responsible for what was happening to the king and her pride. If she didn't had killed her mother 2 years ago and that submale, nothing of this would have happened. At least, that's what she thought. Determined to stop her father's massacre, she began her journey by passing in the Forgotten Forest. She nearly got killed by some cannibal lions but managed to get through that doomed place and made her way to her father territory. When she arrived, she was welcomed by some dead lions that were lying on the trees and ground. Though she couldn't see them, she was smelling that disgusting odor and gagged as she ventured deeper into the Silvers Shores. The sounds of roaring and claws sinking into flesh made her realize that she reached her destination. She let out a loud roar that made the earth tremble, getting by the same occasion the attention of the king who stopped what he was doing to look at her. Seeing the new opponent, the king charged her and violently pinned her to the ground, slicing her belly and her shoulder in a bestial way. Determined, Awaken Nightmare got back on her paws and brutally jumped at her father's neck, biting as hard as she could. She winced as the taste of blood filled her mouth but didn't let go even if the king was clawing at her. In a powerful head motion, she broke the king's neck, ending his life on the spot. Exhausted, the interstellar aimlessly dragged her injured body away and passed out not long after. When she woke up, she was surrounded by lionesses and cubs. Someone had healed her up and everyone let out a cheerful roar when they realized that the interstellar had woken up. Awaken Nightmare stood up and not knowing what to do, she just stayed still. She didn't need to say anything for the others to bow, accepting her as their new leader. She didn't see it, but she certainly felt it. She felt everything, the hope, the expectations and the pressure that was now on her shoulders. Now full of confidence, the interstellar lifted her head up and let out a loud roar that shook the earth itself, fully embracing her new role. Now who knows what awaits her ? I guess only time will tell…
