The Silentblood pride.
The name makes it sound like it’s full of brutes- however it’s not. That doesn’t mean they aren’t savage fighters.
All lions and lionesses are accepted here once they’ve earned their place.
Cubs must be a certain age (one year and four months) before they’ll be required to go though the trial which will decide if they’ve earned their place in the pride. It’s not life threatening to them of course.
The pride lives under the king’s safety and care, and in return they hunt or are brood mothers unless they have a cause to which they cannot be: disability which physically enables them or too old to fulfil their roles anymore.
A king cannot lead the pride alone, so after a few months of kingship, the king will chose his partner that will lead alongside him.
To ensure the welfare and safety of the pride members there are four simple rules.
•Rule one•
Under no circumstances will a lion or lioness treat another member of the pride unfairly.
•Rule two•
It is the king’s job to make sure that no one goes hungry. If the hunting parties were unable to bring back enough food, the king will give the pride member(s) in need his food and he’ll go exploring, if he cannot find food for himself once the pride has been fed he will go hungry until the next opportunity for him to eat arises .
•Rule three•
If a cub is unsuccessful in earning their place among the pride, they’re still treated with respect. The mother will be able to say her proper good bye to her child and the cub will be properly tended to, have it’s chance to say goodbye to friends and mentors before they’re sent off from the pride. Those who do not succeed are not talked about badly.
•Rule four•
To decrease the chances of inbreeding, the king and queen can only have two cubs maximum that remain in the pride, yes they can have more then two but the ones that don’t pass the test are cast out into the wild, or sometimes sold.
